FairFix Limited One Stop Solution for All Your Repair Needs


1.1 Prices quoted are EXCLUDING GST unless otherwise stated. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the price of the goods will be the current price on the day of delivery of the goods. Prices do not include any delivery surcharges.
1.2 FairFix Limited shall be entitled to adjust any price quoted from time to time and the Customer agrees to pay any such adjusted price to take account of variations in the cost to FairFix Limited of carrying out the whole or any part of the contract arising from any of the following:
(a) Delays in delivery or installation of the goods or any of them as a result of instructions or lack of instructions from the Customer, the Customer's failure or inability to fulfill the obligations under the contract or any action or inaction by the Customer or other circumstances beyond FairFix Limited's control;
(b) Variation in the cost of FairFix Limited acquiring the goods directly or indirectly, on account of changes in rates of freight and transport costs, insurance, customs duties, taxes, existing tariff classifications or any variation in currency exchange rates;
(c) Variations in the cost of rates of all statutory, government or local government or governmental authority charges and obligations; or
(d) Any correction of errors or omissions on the part of FairFix Limited or any of its representatives.
1.3 Same-day turn-around is subject to stock availability.
1.4 15 minutes repair is subject to stock availability and not all the repairs are eligible for 15 minutes repair.
2.1 Only cash, bank deposit and online payment through Paypal will be accepted.
3.1 Where FairFix Limited has followed a design or instruction furnished by or given by the Customer, the Customer shall indemnify FairFix Limited against all damages, penalties, costs and expenses of FairFix Limited or in respect of which FairFix Limited may become liable through any work required to be done in accordance with these instructions involving an infringement of a patent, trademark, registered design or common law right.
3.2 Should FairFix Limited be required to match any shade or colour, a light and dark tolerance shall be allowed to such an extent as shall be agreed by FairFix Limited and the Customer at the time the standard colour is specified and in the absence of any agreement a reasonable tolerance shall be allowed.
3.3 None of the products, goods and services sell and provided by FairFix Limited are OEM or Original unless stated inside the product or service description. 
4.1 FairFix Limited will not accept any sort of return of product or service unless agreed by FairFix Limited to accept the good or service.
4.2 Customer is responsible for postage costs in case of return of good or device for warranty purposes.
4.3 Assessment fees will be charged before returning the good/device if the good/device was sent/given to FairFix Limited for repair quotes. Unless otherwise stated, assessment fee will be $19.95 for iPod and phones and $89.95 for iPads and Tablets.
4.4 FairFix Limited shall ask the customer to remove accessories and extras added to the device (covers, memories, sim cards etc) before sending/bringing the device for repair. Customer is responsible to collect and/or pays collecting fees (if any) if the device is returned/collected with missing extras.
4.5 FairFix Limited has the right to destroy or send the device to e-wast if left in FairFix Limited's storage for more than three weeks.
4.6 Storage fees will be applicable if customer does not pick up the device within three weeks after FairFix Limited request the customer to pick up the device.
4.7 FairFix Limited will not be liable for any problems raised during repair on liquid damaged devices. Customer leaves the device with FairFix Limited with his or her responsibility.
4.8 Storage fee of $25 per day for small devices (phone, ipod and small gadgets) and $40 per day for large devices (ipads, tablets and laptops) is applicable if a device stays in FairFix Limited storage for more than four days.
4.9 Fairfix Limited keeps the right to dispose or sell the device to recover the account balance if invoice is not paid for more than 30 days.
5 No Responsibility To Sell Mispriced Products Or Services
FairFix Limited shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products and/or services listed at an incorrect price, stock, rebate or refund, or containing any other incorrect information or typographical errors. FairFix Ltd shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and you have been charged. If you have already paid for the order and your order is cancelled.
6.1 No warranty will be given to any goods or services unless FairFix Limited states the availability of warranty for the product and warranty period within the product description page.
6.2 No refund will be given unless agreed by FairFix Limited.
6.3 No warranty will be given and warranty will be void on the service provided by FairFix Limited if the device has been opened or repaired by other service providers or individuals.
6.4 Warranty covers only the parts that have been changed or replaced by FairFix Limited and only factory defects issues.
6.5 This warranty does not apply: (a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes; (b) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by Manufacturer; (c) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of FairFix Limited; (d) to damage caused by courier companies while device is in transit; (e) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (f) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports.
6.6 FairFix Limited has right to check the phone and device log both visually and via diagnostic software to obtain extra information about the usage of the phone in order to provide any sort of services under warranty. The technical check and analysis may include but not limited to testing the device by sending and receiving text messages and phone calls for cell phone devices and browsing the Internet on both cell phones and other devices with the Internet feature.
6.7 FairFix Limited has right to check the time of the last and the first time the device has been used by the customer before sending the device to us and after receiving the device from us. This includes but not limited to checking the recently installed and used software, the date and time of the most recent text messages and phone calls received and sent, and any upgrades on the firmware and the operating system of the device.
6.8 FairFix Limited will not be responsible for any problems on screen/glass-only repairs. Repairs such as replacing only the glass on Galaxy S3/S4, all iPhone models , S3/S4 mini, Note and Note 2. These repairs are not ultimate and proper repairs and success rate is 90%. FairFix limited will not be liable in case of any damage on the LCD display during glass replacement. Customer should expect problems such as but not limited to moisture mark, bubble, dirt and dust to appear under the glass. To be eligible for 3month warranty, ultimate complete assembly needs to be replaced.
6.9 Repairs under warrant might take 3 to 7 business days to complete. This is subject to stock availablity. Customer will be informed if a new part needs to be ordered or if an assessment needs to be carried out. 

7.1 FairFix Limited does not take any responsibility for delays or lost caused by New Zealand Post and Courier companies.
7.2 There might be delays if customers provide or prefer their own courier services.
7.3 Customer is responsible for damages caused in transit and it has to be solved by contacting New Zealand Courier directly.
8.1 FairFix Limited may delete, change, add or alter the terms and condition time to time. It is customer responsibility to make sure has read the current version of the terms and condition.
9.1 These terms of trade are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
9.2 FairFix Limited and the Customer shall submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand in respect of any dispute or proceeding arising out of these terms and conditions of trade.
9.3 If Customer accepts or uses the products and services covered hereby, customer shall be deemed to consent to accept and consent to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
